In 2022, we developed the “Apoena” project, combining our passion for public policy and gamification.
This project focused on gamification in response to a request from Sebrae’s Leadership Hub for the annual “Leaders in Motion” event. The event, which brings together leaders from various sectors, focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with an emphasis on integrating sustainable practices into business strategies. During the event, participants were encouraged to practice the knowledge covered in a practical and relaxed way, combining a positive experience with learning.

The solution was a game representing a fictional city facing socio-environmental challenges, where participants took on different leadership roles, creating multidisciplinary strategies to restore ecological balance and improve the quality of life of the people of Apoena. The players faced real challenges, such as pollution and social inequality, fostering negotiations and alliances with a direct impact on the city’s future.
The “Apoena Game” was selected for the 14th Brazilian Design Biennial, one of the largest design events in Brazil.
