Projeto desenvolvido em parceria com Hi-Law para JOHNSON’S & JOHNSON’S

The objective was to develop public policy proposals to improve the quality of life of women with endometriosis in Brazil — a complex health condition with multiple barriers to diagnosis and treatment.
The project involved four stages: research, planning, execution of workshop, and documenting the findings. The research phase helped to align the client project team with the context of endometriosis in Brazil and to identify the key players to participate in the workshop. In the planning phase, empathy-building materials were produced based on accounts from affected women who shared their experiences with the disease.

With 25 participants—including healthcare professionals, patients, designers, representatives from the public sector, and parliamentarians—the workshop was conducted based on the Design Thinking methodology, promoting empathy, collaboration, and a focus on solutions with the potential for real impact.
The results were organised into a public report, which provides visibility to the process and shares best practices. Additionally, Johnson & Johnson, the project’s contracting party, received five detailed solution proposals, co-created by a multidisciplinary group committed to transforming the endometriosis landscape in Brazil.

I had never participated in a workshop with this approach before, and for me it was really productive. As a carrier, I believe we increasingly need events like these where we can generate ideas and build resolutions.
